Men’s Soccer Takes Down Seton Hill

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Tamas Nagy connected on two penalty kick goals and added an assist to lead the Roberts Wesleyan men’s soccer team to a 3-1 win over Seton Hill on Wednesday evening.

Nagy scored his first penalty kick goal following a handball in the box in the 22nd minute to give the Redhawks a 1-0 lead. Roberts took that score line into the second half.

Just under three minutes into the second half, Luis Cataldi Milan scored his second career goal with the Redhawks off a short corner taken by Nagy. Milan’s shot beat the goalkeeper to the far post giving Roberts a 2-0 advantage.

Seton Hill got on the board in the 59th minute, but Nagy’s second penalty kick goal in the 79th minute gave Roberts some breathing room late in the game.

Nathan FergusonDwayne Lewis, and Benjamin Lazcano Barros anchored the back line for the Redhawks helping stop promising attacks from the Griffins. Caleb DaSilva made six saves in net to keep Seton Hill at a distance.

Roberts (2-3-2, 1-0-1 ECC) will be back at home on Saturday for homecoming in a non-conference game against Slippery Rock. Kick off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
