Taitn Gray drove in four runs on one hit to lead Dallas Center Grimes Mustangs past Indianola 5-4 on Tuesday. In the third inning, Gray hit a grand slam to right field.
Dallas Center Grimes Mustangs built a 5-run lead in the fourth inning and then held off Indianola’s charge. Indianola closed the gap by scoring on a double, a double, and a single.
Trevor Hamil led things off on the bump for Dallas Center Grimes Mustangs. Andrew DeWall and Brady Blake were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Indianola. Blake provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Indianola with two runs batted in. The 3-hole hitter went 2-for-4 on the day.
