Hilton star baseball player and pitcher James cappellupo a dominate player in section five

James is leaving a great legacy on and off the field at Hilton he’s been dominate starting from the trip to Myrtle beach with a 1 hitter than coming home this season he’s only given up 5 hits in 6 starts as a sophomore 2 years ago help lead hilton to a sectional finals appearance he kept hilton in the game against Miami hurricanes star gage zehel and Penfield legend but unfortunately lost to Penfield in the 2021 final then last year led Hilton to a monroe county divsion 1 title than got upset on the first round loseing to brayden concil a divsion 1 commit on the mound james again match him inning by innings to a 2-0 loss in the 7th inning in last years sectional quarterfinals but james has really grown up working his but off on and off the field in the weightroom with his dad ledgendary former pittsford sutherland coach jim cappelupo who led the knights to 6 sectional titles 2 state final four appearances and cougars summer ball champs last summer james lives and breaths baseball his goals to be a pro someday he’s also is the heart and some of hilton starting a great platform called hilton barstool on instagrams and twitter he’s a great leader for his classmates and baseball teamates he’s texted me and told me how much he’s so motivated to lead his team to a sectional title it would be the first since 2008 with Johnnu schwind and Danny Hurlimann were the ledgends of that team .
