Savage Named Empire 8 Track Athlete of the Week

ROCHESTER, NY – Freshman Jaylen Savagehas been named the Empire 8 Track Athlete of the Week after a strong first performance in the 400 (50.41) at the RIT Invitational.
It was Savage’s first competition this season as his time of 50.41 earned him a seventh place finish at the invitational.
He also was on the 4 x 400-meter relay team with Mike Welch, Gavin McAllister, and Benjamin Lewis that took fourth place out of 14 teams.
Nazareth will be back in action on Friday at the Brockport Invitational at 4 p.m.
