Last night was one of the best high school basketball games environment I’ve seen in years between Avon and York that was old school style basketball both teams are gritty tough hardworking coachable they were playing mini version style of fisher vs nazereth or u of r vs nazereth Stands were packed on both sides of besides my platform Alex Bradski one of the best media guys around the Livingston county news was there student sections on both sides there there is college level talent for divsion 3 on both sides the all time record 3 a point shot maker in a single game josh Harter and Micheal rowlands and Trevor stroud for Avon stats were Micheal 25 Trevor 14 josh 18 points for Avon and fisher commit from York jake pangrazio had 16 points it was a back forth game 2 well coached teams both teams running great stuff York was on fire in first half 25-22 halftime score York led end of 3 45-42 then the 4th quarter Avon took over there physically mentally and physically wore on York 24-6 4th quarter score Avon won 62-47 over class C 2nd ranked in state York I think Avon and York can compete with anybody in section five .
