Brockport jvs beat athena jvs in high scoring game GameChanger recap below

Greece Athena Junior Varsity Trojans watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 14-5 loss to Brockport on Tuesday. Brockport scored on a groundout by Miles Sherman in the first inning, a single by Dunn in the first inning, a double by Llardo in the second inning, and a single by Sheehan in the second inning.

The Greece Athena Junior Varsity Trojans struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Brockport, giving up 14 runs.

Brockport pulled away for good with two runs in the second inning. In the second Llardo doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run and Sheehan singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

Brockport scored five runs in the sixth inning. Brockport offense in the inning was led by Schram, Ty Sherman, Melson, and Llardo, all driving in runs in the frame.

Ty Sherman got the win for Brockport. The ace lasted six and a third innings, allowing seven hits and five runs while striking out three. Llardo threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Gio Stewart took the loss for Greece Athena Junior Varsity Trojans. The righty went one and two-thirds innings, allowing five runs on five hits, striking out one and walking one.

Svante Perez, Jacob Sova, Ryan Ciccone, Parker Goodness, Alex Hall, Cam Cook, and Stewart each managed one hit to lead Greece Athena Junior Varsity Trojans.

Brockport racked up 12 hits on the day. Wallington, Schram, Melson, Dunn, and Llardo each racked up multiple hits for Brockport.
