Churchville dominates state ranked Webster Schroeder Dom morsch with a impressive shut out pitching performance

Dom Morsch didn’t allow a single run against Webster Schroeder , throwing a complete game shutout and leading Churchville-Chili Varsity Saints to a 11-0 victory on Friday

Churchville-Chili Varsity Saints secured the victory thanks to eight runs in the first inning. Churchville-Chili Varsity Saints batters contributing to the big inning included Michael Sardou, Justin Meister, Evan Putney, Carter D’Ovidio, Morsch, and Sardou, who all drove in runs.

Churchville-Chili Varsity Saints got things started in the first inning when Sardou singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

One bright spot for Webster Schroeder was a single by T Cannon in the second inning.

Morsch got the win for Churchville-Chili Varsity Saints. Morsch lasted seven innings, allowing five hits and zero runs while striking out six and walking zero.

Churchville-Chili Varsity Saints totaled 14 hits. Sardou, Josh Campbell, D’Ovidio, Cooper Romich, and Jaylen Lopez each racked up multiple hits for Churchville-Chili Varsity Saints. Sardou led Churchville-Chili Varsity Saints with three hits in five at bats. Churchville-Chili Varsity Saints tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Putney led the way with three.
