ROCHESTER, NY – Graduate students Logan Blankenberg and Olivia Dobrovosky were each named to the Empire 8 Basketball All-Tournament teams for their respective teams.
Blankenberg led Nazareth with 22 points and eight rebounds in the tournament semifinal win over St. John Fisher and had 21 points and 12 rebounds in the championship game against Utica.
Dobrovosky was the top scorer for the Nazareth women’s team with 14 points in the semifinal game against Houghton. She added seven rebounds, three assists and four steals in the game.The Nazareth men defeated St. John Fisher 92-85 before falling to Utica 97-90 in the title game, The Nazareth women were upset by Houghton 63-52 in the semifinal round.
