Saints 16u wins vs bombers GameChanger recap

Parker Farnham was an RBI machine on Sunday, driving in four on two hits to lead NY Saints Baseball 16U past Anjo Bombers 10-5 on Sunday. Farnham drove in runs on a sacrifice fly in the first, a double in the fourth, and a double in the sixth.

NY Saints Baseball 16U earned the victory despite allowing Anjo Bombers to score three runs in the first inning. #23, #13, and #42 each had RBIs in the frame.

Anjo Bombers took an early lead in the first inning. #13 drove in one when #13 singled.

After NY Saints Baseball 16U scored one run in the top of the second, Anjo Bombers answered with one of their own. NY Saints Baseball 16U scored when AJ Cerretto singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run. Anjo Bombers then answered when #11 grounded out, scoring one run.

NY Saints Baseball 16U took the lead for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third #63 induced Marcus Roney to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored, Connor Emens singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs, and Josh Miner singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Anthony Indiano led the NY Saints Baseball 16U to victory on the pitcher’s mound. Indiano surrendered two runs on three hits over five and a third innings, striking out six. Miner threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

63 toed the rubber for Anjo Bombers. The hurler surrendered eight runs on six hits over three innings, striking out one. #13 threw four innings out of the bullpen.

NY Saints Baseball 16U collected ten hits. Miner and Farnham each had multiple hits for NY Saints Baseball 16U. Farnham and Miner each managed two hits to lead NY Saints Baseball 16U.

Anjo Bombers saw the ball well today, racking up seven hits in the game. #42 and #27 all managed multiple hits for Anjo Bombers. #42 led Anjo Bombers with three hits in four at bats.
