Churchville-Chili Varsity Saints Secure Win Against Canandaigua Academy

Churchville-Chili Varsity Saints took down Canandaigua Academy 5-3 on Wednesday at Churchville-Chili Senior High School.
Churchville-Chili Varsity Saints were the first to get on the board in the second when Jamie Derleth singled, scoring two runs.
Canandaigua Academy captured the lead, 3-2, in the top of the third when Sam Clark singled, scoring two runs, and Jack Clark hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.
In the bottom of the third inning, Churchville-Chili Varsity Saints went back into the lead after Luke Karelus doubled to center field, Aaron Reina singled to center field, and Josh Miner laid down a sacrifice bunt, each scoring one run.
Anthony Indiano earned the win for Churchville-Chili Varsity Saints. The starter surrendered two hits and three runs (two earned) over three and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking two. Schaeffer Cormick took the loss for Canandaigua Academy. The starting pitcher went six innings, giving up five runs on six hits, striking out two and walking three. Will Sheible collected the save.
Derleth led Churchville-Chili Varsity Saints with two runs batted in from the number seven spot in the lineup. The first baseman went 2-for-3 on the day. Ryder Froman Leads Eastridge Varsity Lancers Past Palmyra-Macedon Varsity Red Raiders

Ryder Froman struck out 10 batters as the starting pitcher led Eastridge Varsity Lancers past Palmyra-Macedon Varsity Red Raiders 6-1 on Tuesday. Froman allowed four hits and one run over five innings while walking three.
Eastridge Varsity Lancers got on the board in the top of the second inning after Peyton Kispert singled, Froman tripled to left field, and Xzavier Hughey singled to right field, each scoring one run.
Eastridge Varsity Lancers added one run in the third. Jayden Inglese hit a sacrifice fly, making the score 4-0.
Camron Quick took the loss for Palmyra-Macedon Varsity Red Raiders. The hurler went five innings, allowing six runs on eight hits, striking out four and walking six. Aaden Bishop pitched two innings of zero-run ball for Eastridge Varsity Lancers in relief. The reliever allowed zero hits, striking out two and walking none.
Eastridge Varsity Lancers piled up nine hits in the game. Inglese provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Eastridge Varsity Lancers with two runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-3 on the day. Hughey led Eastridge Varsity Lancers with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, piling up eight walks for the game. Eastridge Varsity Lancers didn’t commit a single error in the field. Benny Calixto had the most chances in the field with 12.
Jordan Goff led Palmyra-Macedon Varsity Red Raiders with one run batted in. The outfielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Noah Dapolito, Trey Porpora, Goff, and Quick each collected one hit for Palmyra-Macedon Varsity Red Raiders.
