You only play 1 game a day .everyday your learning every aspect of the game you teach how to move without the ball on offense you learn the correct way to play defense on or away from the ball ,rebounding ,passing ,passing into the post ,intro to shooting ,shooting off the ball ,screening .cut throat drill rules are team must call out there score on defense,must move without the ball ,must catch and square up to the basket,must thank the passer after you score , must score off a pass ,otherwise it’s a turnover defense to offense new team on defense,offence stays if defense gets thrown off the court for not calling out the score. Coaches come from all over the world to work snow valley basketball school snow valley is run by the ledgendary USA basketball coach and 500 win high school coach don showalter and dave Schlabaugh from Cornell college and Chris kern who coached for over 30 years and also Ken Spealbaur Chris and ken are the mvp of camp because they really do a great job with the junior high kids make camp fun for them .jerry Slyhuis the longtime ledgend at cedar falls high school who tragically died 4 years ago was excellent with the warm up of camp everyday and also the footwork box drills was also led by Tates Locke who was a legendary coach from Clemson army and was pro coach for a bit as well this overnight camp brings in over 350 kids this camp you learn a lot from this camp in 4 days work .
