UBL Sawx Secure Win Against UBL Pale Hose

UBL Sawx were victorious against UBL Pale Hose 10-5 on Wednesday.

UBL Sawx were the first to get on the board in the first when Jace Crawford grounded out, scoring one run.

Martin MacConnell grounded out, which helped UBL Pale Hose tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.

UBL Pale Hose took the lead in the bottom of the second. Sova tripled, scoring one run, to give UBL Pale Hose the leg up, 2-1.

UBL Sawx made the score 4-2 in the top of the third after Evan Cuba doubled, scoring one run, and MacConnell induced Max Angle to hit into a fielder’s choice, but two runs scored.

UBL Pale Hose made the score 5-4 in the bottom of the fifth after an error scored two runs, and Angle induced MacConnell to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.

In the top of the sixth inning, UBL Sawx went back into the lead after Ashton Kwoka walked, Benjamin Horvath hit a sacrifice fly, Crawford singled, and UBL Sawx scored on a passed ball, each scoring one run.

Derrick Allen stepped on the hill first for UBL Sawx. The starting pitcher allowed one hit and two runs over three innings, striking out five and walking three. MacConnell stepped on the hill first for UBL Pale Hose. They allowed four hits and four runs over three innings, striking out three and walking four. Angle, Owen Cuba, and Crawford each threw scoreless innings for UBL Sawx in relief.

Horvath went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead UBL Sawx in hits. Angle led UBL Sawx with two runs batted in. UBL Sawx had patience at the plate, accumulating 14 walks for the game. Allen, Angle, Cuba, and Kayden Yapjoco led the team with two free passes each. Horvath stole two bases. UBL Sawx turned two double plays in the game.

Number eight hitter, Sova, showed the depth of UBL Pale Hose’s lineup, by leading them with two hits in three at bats. MacConnell and Gabriel Rivera were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for UBL Pale Hose. Brady Prebalick stole two bases.

UBL Amazins outsted UBL A’s 4-1 on Wednesday.

UBL A’s were the first to get on the board in the fifth when Joshua Pearson hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.

Alan Plummer hit a sacrifice fly, which helped UBL Amazins tie the game at one in the bottom of the fifth.

In the bottom of the sixth, UBL Amazins broke up the tie when Joseph Guisto drew a walk, scoring one run. Then a single by Mason Davey followed to extend the lead to 4-1.

Xander Rogers started the game for UBL Amazins. The starting pitcher surrendered zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out five and walking four. Corey Weiss began the game for UBL A’s. They allowed one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out eight and walking none. Plummer tossed one inning of shutout ball for UBL Amazins in relief. They allowed zero hits, striking out two and walking two.

Jared Swift led UBL Amazins with two hits in three at bats from the leadoff position. Davey provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led UBL Amazins with two runs batted in. The number three hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. UBL Amazins turned one double play in the game.

Pearson led UBL A’s with one run batted in. Mickey Hummel led UBL A’s with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying nine walks for the game. Noah Gressell started the game for UBL Bombers. The starting pitcher gave up one hit and zero runs over three innings, striking out seven and walking none.

Christian Sciortino drove the middle of the lineup, leading UBL Bucs with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Fred Ferrer, Sciortino, Oscar Roger, and Chase Sullivan each collected one hit for UBL Bucs.

UBL Bombers piled up 11 hits in the game. Boyzuck went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead UBL Bombers in hits. Gordner drove the middle of the lineup, leading UBL Bombers with four runs batted in. Team PAC 15u bested Swarm 15U Summer 2023 15U 5-3 on Saturday.

Swarm 15U Summer 2023 15U got on the board in the top of the first inning after Ryan Clark tripled, scoring two runs, and Clark scored after tagging up.

Team PAC 15u made the score 4-3 in the bottom of the first after Brady Colbert drew a walk, scoring one run, Cody Forjone singled, scoring one run, and Reve singled, scoring two runs.

Morgan McLaughlin started on the mound for Team PAC 15u. The righty gave up two hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out seven and walking three.

Brian Barbitta, Colbert, Forjone, McLaughlin, Reve, Zack Mattice, and D. Padolski Padoleski each collected one hit for Team PAC 15u. Reve, the number eight hitter for Team PAC 15u, led the way with two runs batted in. They went 1-for-2 on the day. Team PAC 15u were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Forjone had the most chances in the field with seven.

Clark and Tyler Hawthorne each collected one hit for Swarm 15U Summer 2023 15U. Clark drove the middle of the lineup, leading Swarm 15U Summer 2023 15U with two runs batted in. The first baseman went 1-for-3 on the day.
