Aquinas Institute Li’l Irish Varsity pulled away for good with three runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Patrick Altpeter hit a solo homer, Jake Wiepert hit a solo homer, and Tre’ Walker’s sac fly scored one run for Aquinas Institute Li’l Irish Varsity.

Michael Calogero was credited with the victory for Aquinas Institute Li’l Irish Varsity. The pitcher surrendered one run on three hits over six and two-thirds innings, striking out 13 and walking one. Wiepert threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Wiepert recorded the last out to earn the save for Aquinas Institute Li’l Irish Varsity.

Logan Bulman took the loss for Sodus. The bulldog went three and a third innings, allowing three runs on three hits and striking out five.

Aquinas Institute Li’l Irish Varsity smacked two home runs on the day. Altpeter had a long ball in the fourth inning. Wiepert had a homer in the fourth inning.

Wiepert, Caleb Wilson, and Altpeter each collected one hit to lead Aquinas Institute Li’l Irish Varsity. Aquinas Institute Li’l Irish Varsity stole five bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Walker led the way with two.
