Greece Athena Varsity Trojans wins contest against Hilton Cadets Varsity, 5-3

Greece Athena Varsity Trojans opened up scoring in the first inning, when Derrick Allen singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Allen toed the rubber for Greece Athena Varsity Trojans. The righty allowed three hits and three runs over five innings, striking out two.

Andrew Lenhard was on the pitcher’s mound for Hilton Cadets Varsity. Lenhard surrendered four runs on six hits over three innings, striking out four. Michael Heise threw three innings out of the bullpen.

Greece Athena Varsity Trojans racked up nine hits. Connor Osier, Valencio Almborg-Perez, and Sammy Saucke each collected multiple hits for Greece Athena Varsity Trojans. Saucke, Almborg-Perez, and Osier each collected two hits to lead Greece Athena Varsity Trojans.

Hilton Cadets Varsity didn’t commit a single error in the field. Steven Kraus had the most chances in the field with six.
