Evan Putney threw a gem on Thursday for Churchville-Chili Varsity Saints, allowing zero runs and besting Brockport Varsity Blue Devils by a score of 6-0

Churchville-Chili Varsity Saints opened up scoring in the second inning, when Parker Farnham grounded out, scoring one run.

Churchville-Chili Varsity Saints tallied three runs in the fifth inning. Churchville-Chili Varsity Saints’s big inning was driven by singles by Justin Meister and Cooper Romich.

One bright spot for Brockport Varsity Blue Devils was a single by Kaeden Laureano in the third inning.

Putney got the win for Churchville-Chili Varsity Saints. The southpaw went seven innings, allowing zero runs on three hits, striking out nine and walking zero.

Cooper Harvey took the loss for Brockport Varsity Blue Devils. The lefty allowed seven hits and five runs over six and a third innings, striking out six and walking zero.

Romich, Josh Campbell, Michael Sardou, Putney, Anthony Shortino, Jaylen Lopez, Dom Morsch, and Meister each collected one hit to lead Churchville-Chili Varsity Saints.
