Scott Thompson hits sac fly for Fairport for a walk off win over webster Schroeder game changer app below

Fairport Varsity Red Raiders defeated Webster Schroeder Warriors Varsity 10-9 on Wednesday thanks to a walk-off sacrifice fly. The game was tied at nine with Fairport Varsity Red Raiders batting in the bottom of the eighth when Scott Thompson’s sac fly scored one run for Fairport Varsity Red Raiders.

There was plenty of action on the basepaths as Fairport Varsity Red Raiders collected ten hits and Webster Schroeder Warriors Varsity had nine.

In the first inning, Webster Schroeder Warriors Varsity got their offense started. Jack Simpson tripled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Webster Schroeder Warriors Varsity knotted the game up at nine in the top of the seventh inning. Jack Kelly hit into a fielder’s choice, scoring one run.

Fairport Varsity Red Raiders scored three runs in the fifth inning. Fairport Varsity Red Raiders offense in the inning was led by Will Stanek and Thompson, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Webster Schroeder Warriors Varsity scored three runs in the second inning. Webster Schroeder Warriors Varsity offense in the inning was led by Simpson and Peyton Sanfilippo, who all drove in runs.

Jon Roessel was the winning pitcher for Fairport Varsity Red Raiders. Roessel lasted one inning, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out one and walking zero. Nate Mathis threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Jack Cannon was on the mound for Webster Schroeder Warriors Varsity. Cannon allowed five hits and five runs over three innings, striking out five. Kelly and Nolan Gamble entered the game from the bullpen, throwing three innings and one and one-third innings respectively.

Will Stanek (P) started the game for Fairport Varsity Red Raiders. The ace went four innings, allowing six runs on seven hits, striking out two and walking zero

Fairport Varsity Red Raiders racked up ten hits in the game. Sam Miller, Stephen Rizzolo, and Stanek all had multiple hits for Fairport Varsity Red Raiders. Miller led Fairport Varsity Red Raiders with three hits in five at bats.

Cannon went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Webster Schroeder Warriors Varsity in hits.
