Hilton Cadets Varsity won big over North Bullitt 9-2 on Friday.
North Bullitt got on the board in the second inning. An error scored one run for North Bullitt.
Andrew Lenhard was on the pitcher’s mound for Hilton Cadets Varsity. The lefthander surrendered two runs on three hits over five and a third innings, striking out five.
Caden Dorsey toed the rubber for North Bullitt. Dorsey lasted four innings, allowing seven hits and four runs while striking out one and walking one. Conner Boley threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Hilton Cadets Varsity launched one home run on the day. Lenhard had a dinger in the fifth inning.
Hilton Cadets Varsity racked up 13 hits. Steven Kraus, Jeffery Broadnax, James Capellupo, Brady Gerig, and Michael Heise all managed multiple hits for Hilton Cadets Varsity. Kraus went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Hilton Cadets Varsity in hits.
Dylan Hornback led North Bullitt with two hits in three at bats.
