UBL A’s Come Up Short Against UBL Pale Hose

UBL A’s lost to UBL Pale Hose 12-8 on Wednesday.

UBL Pale Hose got on the board in the top of the first inning after Ethan Light singled, scoring one run, Jamison Riley singled, scoring one run, Declan Caron doubled, scoring two runs, and Gabriel Rivera singled, scoring one run.

UBL A’s flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fourth, scoring five runs on one hit to take a 7-5 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Grady Rogers that drove in two.

UBL Pale Hose flipped the game on its head in the top of the sixth, scoring seven runs on three hits to take a 12-8 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Martin MacConnell that drove in two.

Corey Weiss started on the hill for UBL A’s. The starting pitcher gave up eight hits and five runs over four innings, striking out five and walking one. Mathew Gross opened the game for UBL Pale Hose. The starting pitcher allowed one hit and two runs (zero earned) over three innings, striking out three and walking one.

Dylan Cole, Rogers, Jack Salerno, and Christian Morrison each collected one hit for UBL A’s. Brody Ignizio and Rogers were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for UBL A’s. Robbie Langdon led UBL A’s with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting seven walks for the game.

UBL Pale Hose collected 11 hits in the game. Patrick Altpeter, Rivera, and Caron each collected two hits for UBL Pale Hose. MacConnell and Caron each drove in two runs for UBL Pale Hose.

UBL Amazins Survive UBL Sawx

UBL Amazins got out to a 5-run lead in the sixth inning and held on for a 6-4 victory over UBL Sawx on Wednesday. UBL Sawx closed the gap by scoring on a sacrifice fly, a walk, and a sacrifice fly.

UBL Amazins were the first to get on the board in the first when a steal of home scored one run.

Ashton Kwoka walked, which helped UBL Sawx tie the game at one in the bottom of the second.

A single by Landon Brown gave UBL Amazins the lead, 2-1, in the top of the third.

Jacob Sova stepped on the mound first for UBL Amazins. They gave up one hit and one run (zero earned) over three innings, striking out five and walking one. Joseph Presutti stepped on the bump first for UBL Sawx. They surrendered three hits and two runs (one earned) over three innings, striking out one and walking one. Mason Davey drove the middle of the lineup, leading UBL Amazins with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Brown, Davey, Nicholas DiFrancesca, Ryan Merlo, Maximus Ng, and Jared Swift each collected one hit for UBL Amazins. Sova paced UBL Amazins with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting seven walks for the game. Ng and Swift each stole multiple bases for UBL Amazins. UBL Bucs Can’t Quite Erase 6-Run Deficit In Loss To UBL Bombers

UBL Bucs’s effort to come back from down six runs in the sixth inning came up just short, as they fell 10-8 to UBL Bombers on Thursday. UBL Bucs closed the gap by scoring on a walk, a walk, a ground out, and a ground out.

UBL Bucs got on the board in the top of the first inning after Kevin Schmitt singled, Nathan Scozzaro singled, and Schmitt stole home, each scoring one run.

UBL Bombers tied the game in the bottom of the first thanks to an error, a ground out by Aidan Caselli, and an error.

UBL Bombers took the lead in the bottom of the third. Caselli singled, scoring one run, to give UBL Bombers the edge, 4-3.

Maddox Stoughton singled, which helped UBL Bucs tie the game at four in the top of the fifth.

Stoughton stepped on the mound first for UBL Bucs. The starting pitcher surrendered four hits and four runs (one earned) over three innings, striking out four and walking none. Kieran Hayes began the game for UBL Bombers. The starting pitcher surrendered three hits and three runs over three innings, striking out two and walking two.

Scozzaro led UBL Bucs with two hits in two at bats. UBL Bucs had a strong eye at the plate, amassing seven walks for the game.

Nick led UBL Bombers with three hits in four at bats. Caselli and Nick each drove in two runs for UBL Bombers. Dwyer Boyzuck collected two hits for UBL Bombers in three at bats.

UBL Bombers were victorious against UBL Bucs 7-3 on Saturday.

UBL Bombers got on the board in the top of the second inning after Aidan Caselli walked, and Brody Swan singled, each scoring one run.

Noah Gressell started on the hill for UBL Bombers. They gave up two hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out five and walking two. Nathan Scozzaro started on the hill for UBL Bucs. The starting pitcher allowed one hit and two runs over two and one-third innings, striking out four and walking three. Caselli pitched one inning of no-run ball for UBL Bombers in relief. They gave up zero hits, striking out none and walking one.

Grant Distaffen, Caselli, Gerald Hitchcock, Sam Nick, Swan, Charlie Underhill, and George Wilmot each collected one hit for UBL Bombers. Hitchcock, Underhill, and Wilmot each drove in one run for UBL Bombers. UBL Bombers had patience at the plate, piling up six walks for the game. UBL Bombers turned two double plays in the game.

Scozzaro went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead UBL Bucs in hits. Brayden Delly went 1-for-3 at the plate as the leadoff hitter led the team with three runs batted in. Both teams were strong on the bump on Saturday, but Lehigh Valley Revolution 16U was just a little bit stronger at the plate in their 3-0 victory over Team PAC 15u. Zack Mattice started the game for Team PAC 15u and recorded 16 outs.

Team PAC 15u lost despite out-hitting Lehigh Valley Revolution 16U four to three. Anderson Smith, Brady Colbert, Dylan Gohil, and Morgan McLaughlin each collected one hit for Team PAC 15u.

Lehigh Valley Revolution 16U opened the scoring in the fourth after Jimmy Richards was struck by a pitch, driving in a run.

Mattice started the game for Team PAC 15u. The starting pitcher allowed two hits and three runs (two earned) over five and one-third innings, striking out nine and walking three. Joseph Casciano, Phillip Taylor, and Christopher Tripp each collected one hit for Lehigh Valley Revolution 16U. Taylor went 1-for-2 at the plate as the left-handed hitter led the team with one run batted in. Bryce Blawn stole three bases. Lehigh Valley Revolution 16U stole six bases in the game.
